She passed the preliminary finals, but was unable to continue on the show due to her parents' opposition and continued in her studies. Up until now, she was preparing to become a stewardess, but was introduced to Core Contents Media and finally chose to follow her childhood dream after 6 months of persuasion. After the idea of Nam Gyuri rejoining the group fell through, Soo Mi was decided as the new member.
