Recientemente el tabloide suizo "blick" puso la foto de Ye Sung como hijo del dictador nor-coreano Kim Jungil. La SM Entertainment ha pedido la corrección del reporte.
Ye Sung dijo: "Al comienzo cuando salió el artículo las fans estuvieron muy sorprendidas cuando vieron el periódico suizo en mi minihompy" y yo estaba muy avergonzado al inicio, haha por esta casualidad, gente en Europa conocerá sobre el grupo popular asiático Super Junior. Mis padres se rieron también"
