Se reveló que el líder y vocalista SeeYa, Nam Gyuri pronto podría estar enfrentando una acción legal después de negarse a que se adhieran a las condiciones establecidas en su contrato. Core Contents Media expresó hoy que Gyuri Nam, que aún tiene 2 años de su contrato a plazo, ha rechazado sin razones válidas para unirse en el nuevo álbum de grabación y otras actividades para SeeYa. Esto ha impactado SeeYa y los otros 2 miembros, Kim Ji Yeon y Lee Bo Ram enormemente, ya que se han estado esperando a Nam Gyuri.
Core Contents Media ha decidido demandar a Nam Gyuri por incumplimiento de contrato. Los 3 miembros de SeeYa, Nam Gyuri, Kim Yeon Ji y Lee Bo Ram ha firmado un contrato de 5 años en ese entonces con el MM y debutó en febrero de 2006. GM, sin embargo, fue absorbido en Mnet Media en 2006. A representative expressed, "Nam Gyuri's actions has severely impacted the release of SeeYa's new album. This has caused the company to lose valuable time and money because of the delay. Moreover, this has also severely damaged the image of SeeYa and the other 2 members. We have no choice but to file a legal suit against her." Nam Gyuri's representative has expressed their shock at this legal suit with an immediate response. They were actually told by Core Contents Media that Nam Gyuri would be replaced and that SeeYa would not be disbanded just because she left. They also hinted that the new member is already in place although this cannot be verified now. This is not the first time where Nam Gyuri was reported to be leaving SeeYa and go solo.
